Alim Sabir is a Kazakh, Toronto-based filmmaker. Alim’s perceptive style is defined by the infinite pursuit of expressing intricacies of human nature and his own connection to the ever-evolving world.

Alim’s diverse and expressive creative ability is at the center of his wide spectrum of work. He has collaborated with some of the best Canadian talents including Drakes producer OVO 40, former Toronto Raptors player Serge Ibaka and Marvel’s superhero Simu Liu. Alim's commercial work consists of iconic brands like adidas, Nike, Kappa, Nobis, and Native Instruments. His debut art film E_GO received a Vimeo Staff Pick and many more international film festival accolades.

With each project, Alim assembles an emotionally charged composition resonating with visual poetry within the story.
